Better find a union job

At least for the next 5 years. In an outrageous bargaining session the congress has agreed to shield union workers from paying taxes on high level health insurance plans, but if you are not a union worker you will have to pay the tax. This form of class warfare is really cutting it close. Many middle class Americans with non union jobs have high end health care plans. They will be footing the bill for the union workers while unions get favor from the current administration.

So there you are sitting in your middle class home considering yourself lucky enough to have a job with great benefits that you have to work 60 hours a week to keep, while your neighbor works for Chevy and his union contract says he cant work more then 40 hours a week. Then you realize that you are paying a 40% tax on your health insurance while you neighbor, whose company has taken BILLIONS in tax payer bailouts and is still failing, does not have to pay the tax. Your tax on your health care can be more than $9600 a year.

In the current form, the unions will be shielded from paying the tax until 2018. What do you think will happen then? Do you think your neighbor's union will quietly allow that tax to kick in? No. They will find another way for the rest of us to pay for it..... That is assuming anyone still has a job in 2018.
